Bible Foundation

e-Text Files

In 1988 Bible Foundation began providing Bible e-text files on a BBS in Phoenix, AZ. The BBS became the home site for the e-texts of the Webster, Darby and Young's Bibles, when they were produced by Mark Fuller. These e-texts are now found on a number of sites on the Internet and in a number of Bible software packages. As the Internet grew, others got involved and more works were produced. The works were freely made available and ended up in many programs. One of the best is free and has extensive modules available. See The CrossWire Bible Society and their page www.crosswire.org/sword/modules/index.jsp . Bible Foundation had to quit maintaining the e-text files but they live on and many people around the world have been greatly blessed. An Internet search for <Bible etexts> yielded over 69,000 hits.
